what kinds of tricks can your dog do?
I was just curious what tricks your dog can do or what tricks your dog is in the process of learning how to do.
My Coonhound can sit, stay, lay down, come, stand high, shake, crawl, go 2 bed, fetch and retrieve, weave, climb stairs and poles, shoot through a tunnel, climb slides, jump over and through things, and soon to learn many more…
i was just curious so maybe i could get other ideas. being a coonhound/doberman she is extremely attentive and lives to please and do a good job. unfortunately i’ve been busy lately and haven’t spent as much time with her as i should have, but am getting back into the training and biking routine with her to keep her exercised and in a few months i plan on getting a border collie. we will be constantly outdoors and practicing water skills and agility/disc skills, so it will be fun!!
thanks for suggestions and letting me know how much you enjoy your dog and their tricks!!!

I have a lab who loves learning new tricks. One of my favorites is play dead. We point our hand at her like a gun and say BANG! really loudly and she lays down on her back and doesn’t move.
Some easy ones to train that you didn’t mention are roll over, speak, sit pretty, and heel.
Heel can be alot of fun to train. If you get out into an open yard practice with him off leash by making turns, starting and stopping, going by distractions, etc. Whenever you stop make him sit immediately. You will get a really obedient dog if you continue to do this.
Oh another one that’s harder to do. My baby was to hungry to master it! Put a treat on his nose and teach him to leave it until you give him a command. My dog learned how to throw it up and catch it, but never waited for the command.
Dog training is fun and might be very hard at times, but with some patience and lotsa best friend love, your pal will be healthy and extremely happy. These are effective tips composed by the author that all dog owners should go over : thanks.
