They look like giant rabbit/hamster water bottles. One of my females plays in water, doesn't matter if it's a lake, puddle, or...you guessed it, her water bowl. The water bottle did the trick. I have it attached on the inside of her crate. The bucket outside and the bottle inside will work since your dog is just sloppy and doesn't tip it's bowls over. I have a bucket attached to my little splashers' outdoor run (which she digs in) and a kiddie pool (which she muddies 10 times a day) for additional water. They make water bottles for dogs.
