Mess when dog drinks water?
Is there any tricks or tips to keeping your floor dry around the water dish?
I swear one of my dogs gets about half the water he drinks in his mouth and the other half gets on the floor! We put a rug underneath, but I have to wash it like once a week because it gets all moldy smelling. Yuk!
lol Ryan you know exactly what I’m talking about!
Hmm… well it sounds like the Mat is the only option other than a water bottle. I wonder if they’ed even drink out of it? We have 2 big dogs, mutts (like think lab size or bigger.) So we also keep a bucket outside with water. Maybe have a bottle inside a bucket outside?

They make water bottles for dogs. They look like giant rabbit/hamster water bottles. One of my females plays in water, doesn’t matter if it’s a lake, puddle, or…you guessed it, her water bowl. The water bottle did the trick. I have it attached on the inside of her crate.
The bucket outside and the bottle inside will work since your dog is just sloppy and doesn’t tip it’s bowls over. I have a bucket attached to my little splashers’ outdoor run (which she digs in) and a kiddie pool (which she muddies 10 times a day) for additional water.
